Put Your Name On Klitschko's Trunks
Fans step with Wladimir Klitschko into the ring
Hamburg (GER), June 19, 2012. World champion Wladimir Klitschko wants to thank his fans and invites them to step with him into the ring for his next title defense. On the official Facebook page of the IBF, WBA, WBO, IBO and “The Ring Magazine” world heavyweight champion Klitschko fans have the chance from today until June 25 to sign in through an app. The names of all participants will then be printed on Wladimir’s boxing robe and trunks which he will be wearing for his next fight against Tony Thompson in Bern, Switzerland, on July 7.
“I have the best fans in the world and I want to say ‘Thank You’ for their great support”, says Klitschko who is preparing in his training camp for the fight. “Every single fan name on my boxing outfit will push me a little bit more. Together we are unstoppable.”
Mobilat, team sponsor of Wladimir Klitschko, supports this action happily: “A champion is always as good as his fans. This is for Wladimir as well as for Mobilat. As Wladimir and Mobilat receive great support from their fans, we are excited to support this project. Mobilat is the brand of the fans”, says Adil Kachout, CEO of STADA GmbH. Fashion company Strellson which also produces Klitschko’s robe and trunks will be responsible for the printing of the names.
After the fight, the robe and the trunks will be auctioned for a charity event.
How it works: Like the official Facebook page of the Klitschko brothers www.facebook.com/VitaliWladimirKlitschko. After that, the user will be able to click on the app and take part in the action. The participation is free of charge.
In Germany, the fight Klitschko vs. Thompson at the Stade de Suisse Nationalstadion in Bern, Switzerland, will be broadcast live and exclusively on RTL. In the US, Epix will show the bout.
Tickets are available on www.ticketcorner.ch and www.eventim.de.
