Soto Karass Meets Euri Gonzalez on July 7
LOCAL BOXERS BATTLE IT OUT ON JULY 7
JESUS SOTO KARASS VS. EURI GONZALEZ UNDERCARD AT
THE HANGAR AT THE ORANGE COUNTY FAIR & EVENT CENTER
LOS ANGELES, July 5 – Some local scores will be settled this Saturday night at The Hangar at the Orange County Fair & Event Center when Golden Boy Promotions presents exciting matchups with Southern California flare on the Jesus Soto Karass vs. Euri Gonzalez undercard which feature up-and-coming Los Angeles area boxers looking to make names for themselves under the bright lights.
In the main event, veteran favorites Soto Karass and Gonzalez square off in a 10 round welterweight fight that will headline the July 7 event televised on FOX Sports Net, FOX Deportes' and FUEL TV. In the 10 round junior lightweight co-feature, unbeaten Mexican Olympian Francisco Vargas takes on Puerto Rico's Irving Torres.
Soto Karass vs. Gonzalez and Vargas vs. Torres are presented by Golden Boy Promotions and sponsored by Corona and DeWalt Tools. Doors open at 5:00 p.m. PT on fight night and the first bell rings at 6:00 p.m. PT. The FOX Sports Net and FOX Deportes bilingual simulcast will air live at 10:00 p.m. ET/7:00 p.m. PT. FUEL TV will rebroadcast the fight on August 5, at 12:00 p.m. ET/9:00 a.m. PT.

It will be an all-Los Angeles battle when recent Golden Boy signee Julian Ramirez (2-0, 2 KO's), who is the nephew of the late, great Genaro “Chicanito” Hernandez, meets up with Christian Navarrro (Pro Debut) in a four round featherweight fight.
Fight fans always love the big men of boxing and in a four round heavyweight match-up, Long Beach's Javier Torres (3-6, 1 KO) will take on Orange's Francisco Diaz (2-5, 2 KO's) in what should be a crowd-pleasing brawl.
A four round junior lightweight bout between Los Angeles' Uriel Torres (0-1) and Santa Ana's Naphi Mohammad (0-2) promises to be an interesting one as the hungry local products each search for their first professional win in front of hometown fans.
In the four round lightweight opener, Angeleno Santiago Guevarra (2-0, 1 KO) looks for win number three against an opponent to be named.
