Dmitriy Salita To Appear At Brighton Beach, and Public Workout
BROOKLYN, NY (October 11, 2012) – Welterweight Contender Dmitriy Salita to appear at Brighton Beach and Public workout at Fight Factory Gym.
Dmitriy Salita returns home to Brooklyn after completing an intense training camp in Detroit's famed Kronk Gym to meet his fans ahead of the highly anticipated evening of World Championship Boxing at the new Barclays Center.
Dmitriy's dream is coming true with the opening of Barclay Center boxing Saturday, October 20 in his beloved Brooklyn. Salita is the Extra Added Attraction that night to compliment the Four World Championship Fights. Dmitriy enjoys great popularity as a Brooklyn prizefighter, motivational speaker and role model for local youth groups. “I'm only one or two fights away from a World Title fight in my beautiful home borough of Brooklyn”, said Dmitry Salita
“I want Paulie Maignaggi to defend his welterweight title successfully on the 20th, so we can fight in The Battle of Brooklyn for his 147-pound world championship soon after. Wouldn't that be great?”, “I'm excited. If I wasn't fighting on the card there is no way I would not be there. I know I'll be seeing lots of my friends in the crowd a week from Saturday. They always give me such generous support.”
