JuanMa Wants To Get Back To Mountain-Top
Two straight wins for Juan Manuel Lopez
has cranked up his confidence level.
“It shows me what I can do while being
on a good conditioning and nutritional
schedule,” Juanma said from Caguas,
Puerto Rico. “I want to prove I can still
be an elite fighter in this (featherweight)
division. Mikey Garcia is a good champion,
a tough opponent. But I plan to return
to Puerto Rico with the title belt.”
Mikey Garcia vs Juan Manuel Lopez
is scheduled June 15 at the American
Airlines Center in Dallas. HBO will
televise.
Juanma's chief trainers, Alex Caraballo
and Orlando Pinero, say the former
champion is training at a high level.
“Juanma is working hard, is focused
and he knows what is at stake,” said
Caraballo.
