RON MIKE PRODUCTIONS PRESENTS:
BIG TEXAS THROWDOWN!!!
“CHUKY” FLORES READY FOR US DEBUT
FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 26
MESQUITE ARENA
Deerfield Beach, FL (September 22, 2014) Undefeated and heralded Mexican featherweight prospect MOISES “Chuky” FLORES will make his highly anticipated United States debut at “Big Texas Throwdown” this Friday, September 26th at the Mesquite Arena in Mesquite, Texas, just outside of Dallas.
Flores, 20-0-0 (15KO’s), will fight in a six round special feature attraction against PABLO BATRES of Nogales, MX in a bout presented by Boxing Legend MIKE TYSON and Iron Mike Productions in association with Mario Davila Media and Big Card Promotions.
Known in his native Mexico for his show stopping knockouts, the heavy handed Flores will be making the first start of his 2014 campaign following a trail of destruction south of the border.
In mid-August, Flores commenced training at the Iron Mike Productions headquarters in Deerfield Beach, Florida.
“Training here has been perfect,” said Flores. “Iron Mike Productions has excellent facilities and I will be fully prepared for my US debut this Friday.”
“Chuky is a special talent, his knockouts in Mexico have been huge news in that country and we can’t wait to showcase him for US boxing fans” said Tyson. “He’s exactly the kind of fighter boxing fans in the US will love, all action with knockout power in each hand.”
Fighting out of Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico, Flores scored three devastating knockouts in 2013, the biggest of which was a brutal second round stoppage of longtime Mexican contender Rodolfo Hernandez on February 23rd in Guerrero, Mexico.
Earlier this month Flores attended the 2014 Box Fan Expo with the Iron Mike Productions’ Team where he met former middleweight world champion SERGIO MARTINEZ.
“Big Texas Throwdown” is headlined by an excellent 12-round WBA “Super” World Bantamweight Title bout between longtime champion ANSELMO “Chemito” MORENO of San Miguelito, Panama and #1 ranked contender JUAN CARLOS PAYANO of the Dominican Republic.
Also featured on the card will be popular Dallas-Fort Worth area fighters including middleweight contender CHARLES “The Future” HATLEY, 23-1-1 (16KO’s)who will be featured in the ten round co-main event, former world title challenger ROBERTMARROQUIN,
