SHEER’S YOUNG GUNZ QUIGLEY, SANDOVAL AND LOPES POISED TO IMPRESS
PROSPECTS STAYING BUSY, NOTCHING KAYOES
People are talking. Buzz is building.
Jason Quigley is one to watch.
Quigley scored a KO1 win on March 6, and he knows it’s best to be a busy body, stay active, get more pro experience, and keep on building a growing fan-base. Thus, the 23-year-old Irishman, signed to Sheer Sports Management and Golden Boy Promotions, will glove up again on March 20th at Fantasy Springs Casino, Indio, CA.
Yes, old school style activity. Staying busy, staying in shape, building for the not too far off future, where title shots loom for the banger from Ballybofey.
The super middleweight (4-0, with four stoppages, three in round one)
made his March 6th foe wince, and made the ref step in and save Lanny Dardar from excessive punishment. Quigley scored two knockdowns, showing pop in both hands, and his aggression signaled to the ref that he’d better pull the plug.

Quigley knows being super active puts his growth on a fast track. “I’m really excited to be back in the ring so soon,” he said. “The plan is to keep me busy; the busier I am and the more fights I have the more I learn the more experience I gain and climb my way closer to fulfilling my dreams!”
Also, 21-year-old prospect super bantamweight Edwin Sandoval (2-0 with 1 KO, lives in LA), another stud in the Sheer stable, shows his chops off, on March 21 in Mexico. He is pumped to show off his stuff. “I’m excited to get back in the ring and go to work with my new corner and head coach Clemente Medina,” he said. “I’ve had a tremendous camp and ready to perform for my fans in Tijuana, Mexico. It’s going to be an epic night!”
Not to be overlooked is the next date for two-time Olympian, Brazilian Everton Lopes; the 26-year-old lightweight is also back in action, April 2, at the Belasco Theater down town LA. He debuted as a pro on Feb. 27 with a UD win.
