UN of Boxing On Salita Card Tonight, in BROOKLYN
BROOKLYN, N.Y. (Oct. 29, 2015) – New York promoter Dmitriy Salita’s cards are always filled with combatants from all over the world, a United Nations of pugilistic pride.
This tonight’s “Brooklyn Brawl” is no exception.
Many of the flags being waved as the boxers walk to the ring will be clustered around the Eastern European zone. That area is furnishing talented and aggressive hitters, such as Serdar Hudayberdiyev, a 2012 Olympian and Asian games champion born in Turkmenistan. He will make his pro debut on the Salita Promotions card which is to take place at the Aviator complex in south Brooklyn.
The flag of Kazakhstan, home to pound for pound ace Gennady Golovkin, will be on display at the Aviator.
Bakhtiyar Eyubov, making his home in Brooklyn, NY. Some believe the junior middleweight will rise to Golovkin levels; now he sports an 8-0 record, with 8 KOs.
A blue-chip prospect from the republic of Georgia, Giorgi Gelashvili, a three-time Georgian national champion, will face a stern test when he faces Rashad Bogar of NJ. The 2-0 super lightweight looks to stay unbeaten and extend his KO streak to three in a row in Brooklyn.
The five boroughs of NY are always representing at a Salita show; on Thursday, the Bronx will be in the house, rooting on cruiserweight Emilio Salas. Oh, and he comes from Puerto Rican, so that flag will be displayed on fight night as well.
Local NYC favorite Mikkel LesPierre, a super lightweight, will return to Brooklyn Brawl and look to remain undefeated; he’s 10-0-1 and opening eyes as a solid prospect.
Doors open at 6 p.m. with the first bout scheduled for 6:30 p.m., as the Brooklyn Brawl looks to once again captivate New York City with fistic fury. Tickets begin at $20 and are available by calling 1-844-890-2120 or by visiting SalitaPromotions.com.
