The rumor mill is churning, and I’m hearing there is a distinct possibility that the next Floyd Mayweather fight, to take place Sept. 12, at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, could be shown on CBS.

I reached out to a spokesman at Showtime, which has a deal, nearing it’s end point. The next fight is the last one of “TBE’s” six fight deal.
We have no comment at this time, the spokesperson told me.
Me, I’m thinking we hear about the next foe, and the platform, within two weeks. Because September is not that far away…
