Haye vs de Mori To Stream Live
Haye vs de Mori To Stream Live – The David Haye versus Mark de Mori heavyweight fight scheduled for later today at the 02 Arena in London will be available on Livestream courtesy of David Haye and his youtube channel.
This fight is the former Cruiserweight and former Heavyweight world titleholder Haye’s first fight in more than three years, and despite the name recognition he still has, Haye has not had an easy time selling the fight. For his part, de Mori brings a fine (30-1-2) record, but he enters the fight a massive underdog paying (+1400) at the sport books, with Haye coming in a (-2500) favorite.
If you want to catch the Haye vs de Mori livestream, you can check our friends at The Boxing Channel. The stream is scheduled to start at 4PM Eastern Standard Time.
The fight will be airing on British television channel “Dave”, which is a comedy network more than a combat sports network. Despite the lack of respect “Dave” commands in some circles, you have to hand it to Haye, whose Hayemaker Promotions are putting on the event. They are putting the event in front of as many people as they possibly can. A tireless self-promoter, Haye has been doing a lot of publicity for this fight, and he has spent the last several months training in England under Shane McGuigan so he has been putting in the work for his comeback on both fronts. Haye has been vocal, calling out British Heavyweight protege Anthony Joshua, and his history with World Champion Tyson Fury is well documented, so all indictations are that Haye is set to make a run over the next year to eighteen months.
Haye was once one of the most popular fighters in fight-maddened England, and perhaps he needs just one good performance to win them all back. At 35 years old, Haye thinks he is poised to make waves in the now tumultous heavyweight division. In the end, de Mori will have been right about one thing – David Haye is looking past him.
