We Bid Farewell to “The Destroyer”

Bid Farewell Alex Stewart- Former heavyweight contender Alex “The Destroyer” Stewart passed away on Wednesday at the age of 52.
The general feeling across the boxing world is one of a sense of loss, as Stewart fought some of the most memorable fights of the 1980s and 1990s in the rugged heavyweight division. Perhaps more importantly, people recall a shy, soft-spoken fighter who left memories of a good all around person. He will be missed.
Stewart logged his last fight in June of 1999 and his list of opponents across his career include Mike Tyson, George Foreman, Evander Holyfield and Michael Moorer among others. He retired with a fine record of 43 wins, and 10 losses and 40 of his wins came by way of KO.
