Adonis Stevenson Now in Stable Condition After Suffering a Stoppage by Oleksandr Gvozdyk

Adonis Stevenson, who was in critical condition after suffering a stoppage in Saturday night’s fight in Quebec City, has since been upgraded to stable condition. According to his promoter Yvon Michel, he has been placed in an induced coma to facilitate his recuperation.
Stevenson faced Oleksandr Gvozdyk in a light heavyweight world championship bout and lost by knockout in the 11thround. He was slow getting back to his feet, and although he was able to walk out of the ring, he was carried out of the arena by stretcher and taken straight to the hospital.
