Quote of Note
Margarito Was A Disaster Without Plaster
Disciplined, accurate, busy but economical, good power…absolutely prime Cotto. A dissection. Margarito landed but simply did not hurt him without building materials in his fists. A good way to win. And, for the record, when a fighter has one eye completely closed, rules dictate that the fight must be stopped, regardless of the fans' desire to see the fight go on. Not always followed. But the rule. Comes from one of the top refs in the biz, who drank lots of my beer that evening. –TSS reader Mortcola offers expert analysis of the Cotto-Margarito rematch
