Boxing Odds – Khan vs. Alexander for WBC Silver Welterweight Title
Nothing equals a championship bout that looks even both in the ring and at the betting window and with that in mind it looks like Christmas will arrive early on Saturday night.
Amir “King Khan” Khan will face Devon “Alexander the Great” Alexander for the WBC Silver Welterweight title on December 13 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, NV. Khan opened as a -240 favorite while Alexander was a +190 dog with the Boxing odds.

The 28 year old Amir Khan stands at five feet eight and one half inches tall with a reach of 71 inches and fights from an orthodox stance. Khan is coming off a unanimous decision win over Luis Collazo in a 12 round bout that was for the vacant WBC Silver Welterweight title and the WBA International Welterweight title. The bout took place at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on May 3, 2014. It was the third consecutive win for Khan after he suffered back to back losses in title bouts to Lamont Peterson on December 12, 2011 and to Danny Garcia on July 14, 2012.
Devon “Alexander the Great” Alexander
The 27 year old Devon Alexander stands at five feet eight and one half inches tall with a reach of 70 inches and fights from a southpaw stance. Alexander is a native of St. Louis, Missouri, USA where he still resides. Alexander is ranked fourth in the United States and eighth in the world. He has a career record of 26 wins, two losses, and no draws. Alexander has scored 14 knockouts out of his 26 career wins and has never suffered a knockout loss.
Alexander is coming off a unanimous decision win over Jesus Soto Karass in a ten round bout that took place at the StubHub Center in Carson, CA, USA on June 21, 2014.
