Manny Pacquiao vs. Timothy Bradley
OK. So, we are waiting for Manny Pacquiao to put on his gloves and walk out of the dressing room. Apparently, Mr. Pacquiao did not arrive to the arena until a few minutes ago and is granted extra time to stretch his calves.
Bradley is throwing punches in the dressing room. Pacquiao is getting warmed up.
Fight is coming, just don't know when…
It feels like Pacquiao's rushing himself. He is throwing on the gloves as quick as possible. It feels weird, awkward. It's hard to tell. But guess what, Michael Buffer is doing his thing in the ring which means we are moments away! It's almost showtime!!
Bradley is walking in the ring. Yes, we are ready!
Both fighters are in the ring now. We are moments away!
Round 1
Bradley is calm, using the jab to dictate the pace. Manny has not done much in the first two minutes and it seems like Bradley is controlling this round. Manny landed two good left hands in the last thrity seconds to steal the round.
10-9 Pacquiao
Round 2
Bradley is pawing the jab but getting hit clean with the left hand. Pacquiao hits Bradley with two strong shots to the head in the first minute. The straight left hand is working for Pacquiao. And he is calm, focused. So far so good for Manny.
10-9 Pacquiao
Round 3
Bradley has thrown 150 punches in the first two rounds. But he is boxing, using the jab to set up the right hand. Pacquiao seems comfortable. The left hand is working well for the champ. He landed a good left hand midway through the round to knock Bradley back. Manny is in control.
10-9 Pacquiao
Round 4
Bradley is coming to fight but he has not landed anything effective. An accidental head butt occurs in the second minute. Pacquiao charges Bradley and wobbles him with a left cross in the final minute. Bradley weathers the storm, but it’s all Pacquiao so far.
10-9 Pacquiao
Round 5
Although Bradley is behind on the scorecards, he is still coming forward. Pacquiao is landing the left hand at will. The left-hand connects again in the last minute of the round, rocking the undefeated challenger. Bradley is wobbled, but hangs on.
10-9 Pacquiao
Round 6
Hard to find a way Bradley can win tonight. Bradley is pawing the jab again as Manny stalks him around the ring. When Manny decides to engage the fight is one-sided. Pacquiao rushes Bradley into the corner in the final minute. This fight is all Pacquiao.
10-9 Pacquiao
Round 7
Give Bradley credit, he is fighting to win, but he does not have enough skills. Pacquiao is bleeding from the mouth but he lands a beautiful left uppercut that knocks Bradley's head back. Not much action, but once again, all Pacquiao.
10-9 Pacquiao
Round 8
Once again Bradley uses the jab to set up his right hand but he cannot penetrate Manny's defense. Pacquiao lands three solid left hands in the second minute. Bradley gets frustrated and fires back. Round eight was all Pacquiao once again folks.
10-9 Pacquiao
Round 9
Sadly, this fight has turned into a glorified sparring session. Bradley is in front of Pacquiao but cannot do anything of impact. Pacquiao unloads with a combo to the head in the second minute that rocks Bradley. Another one sided round in favor of Manny.
10-9 Pacquiao
Round 10
Much of the same, Bradley is not doing enough to win while Pacquiao is picking his spots, waiting for the moment to land the left hand cleanly. So far Bradley has won this round because of Manny's lack of interest. Yet, nothing happened of significance.
10-9 Bradley
Round 11
The crowd boos at the end of round 10, and they are quiet, seemingly waiting for something exciting to happen. Bradley mostly uses the jab but Pacquiao is landed the stronger blows. This was a closer round but Pacquiao takes it.
10-9 Pacquiao
Round 12
Not much different going on. Bradley is more active. He follows the left jab with a solid right in the final minute. It was a close round based on Bradley's activity. But Manny Pacquiao was absolutely dominant all night.
10-9 Pacquiao
Judges 115-113 Pacquiao 115-113 Bradley 115-113 Bradley
TSS scored it 119-109 for Pacquiao
