Fight Network To Provide Canelo-Lara Coverage
Fight Network to Air Extensive Canelo vs. Lara Fight Week Coverage
Toronto – Fight Network, the world’s premier 24/7 television channel dedicated to complete coverage of combat sports, will broadcast extensive Canelo Alvarez vs. Erislandy Lara fight week coverage, including live weigh-ins, press conference, undercard countdown show and exclusive interviews with Saturday’s competitors.
Fight Network’s live coverage will be broadcast on Cablevision’s Optimum TV in the U.S., nationwide in Canada, as well as internationally in over 30 countries across Europe, Africa and the Middle East.
On Thursday, July 10, at 4 p.m. ET, Fight Network will air a live broadcast of the official final press conference from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, as Canelo Alvarez and Erislandy Lara exchange final words ahead of their pay-per-view showdown.
On Friday, July 11, at 6 p.m. ET, the live weigh-ins take place with all the fighters tipping the scales and facing off one final time before they enter the ring on Saturday night.
On Saturday, July 12, at 7:30 p.m. ET, Fight Network presents the live undercard countdown show, featuring previews and analysis of all the fights, as well as a highly anticipated WBO bantamweight title clash between champion Tomoki Kameda of Japan and Thai challenger Pungluang Sor Singyu.
Additionally, interviews with the headliners and Golden Boy Promotions president and founder Oscar de la Hoya, plus highlights from the open media workouts and grand fighter arrivals, will air during Fight News Now Extra throughout the week.
Highlights from the card, including post-fight interviews, recaps and analysis, will air during Fight News Now Extra beginning on Monday, July 14.
