Rising star fighter inks exclusive long-term deal with powerhouse HBO Sports
Golden Boy Promotions Founder Oscar de la Hoya, superstar boxer Canelo Álvarez and HBO Sports President Ken Hershman will announce a newly signed agreement to bring the boxer’s fights to the HBO Sports network during a press conference at Golden Boy Promotions headquarters today.
On a conference call will be:
Oscar de la Hoya, founder of Golden Boy Promotions
Ken Hershman, president of HBO Sports
Canelo Álvarez, light-middleweight prizefighter
Here is the schedule for the announcement: 11:30 a.m. Press conference begins
1:15 p.m. Conference call for media unable to attend press conference in-person
Oscar de la Hoya and Ken Hershman together with Canelo Álvarez will announce the rising superstar fighter’s move to enter in to a long-term commitment with HBO during a press conference at Golden Boy Promotion’s headquarters. De la Hoya, Hershman and Álvarez will take questions during the press conference and be available for interviews immediately after.
