Defending WBO super middleweight champion Arthur Abraham is coming off his first successful title defense bout and is riding a four bout winning streak as he extracted revenge on Robert Stieglitz to secure the title bout. Paul Smith will be stepping way up in class as he tried to take away Abraham’s belt and establish himself with a signature win. Arthur Abraham will face Paul Smith for the WBO Super Middleweight title on September 27 at Kiel, Schleswig Holstein, Germany. Abraham opened as a -500 favorite with the Boxing odds while Smith opened as a +400 dog.

Smith hails from Liverpool, Merseyside, United Kingdom where he was born. He has a career record of 35 wins, three losses with zero draws. Out of Smith’s 35 wins 20 have come by knockout and he has suffered two knockout losses. Smith is ranked seventh in the United Kingdom and 38th in the world. He is coming off a technical knockout win over David Sarabia on May 17, 2014.
