Middleweight Championship Tour Will Hit Los Angeles / Las Vegas / New York / México City Tuesday, July 10 – Friday, July 13

LAS VEGAS, NEV. (June 28, 2012) – Undefeated World Boxing Council (WBC) middleweight champion and Son of the Legend, JULIO CÉSAR CHÁVEZ JR., and two-division world champion SERGIO MARTINEZ, along with their promoters Bob Arum, Fernando Beltran and Lou DiBella, will embark on a four-city / two-nation international media tour to promote their eagerly-awaited Méxican Independence Day middleweight championship battle, beginning on Tuesday, July 10. Chávez Jr. vs. Martinez will take place Saturday, September 15, at the Thomas & Mack Center, on the campus of the University of Nevada at Las Vegas. It will be produced and distributed live by HBO Pay-Per-View®, beginning at 9 p.m. ET / 6 p.m. PT.

July 13 – México City
Promoted by Top Rank, Zanfer Promotions and DiBella Entertainment, in association with Wynn Resorts, AT&T and Tecate, tickets to the Chávez Jr. vs. Martinez Middleweight Championship Event will go on sale Thursday, July 12 at 3 p.m. ET / Noon PT. Priced at $600, $400, $200, $100, $75, $50 and $25, they can be purchased at the Thomas & Mack Center box office and Town Square Las Vegas Concierge.
