BWAA Dinner Is April 11 in NYC
The Boxing Writers Association of America's 88th annual awards dinner will be held in New York City, on Thursday April 11 at a soon-to-be-announced venue.
As is the custom, the BWAA tied in its function with a major fight show. Heading the list of honorees is 2012 “Fighter of the Year” Nonito Donaire, who has confirmed his attendance at the event. Two days later Donaire heads a show at Radio City Music Hall.
Also confirmed to attendance is Juan Manuel Marquez, who will share BWAA “Fight of the Year” honors with Manny Pacquiao.
Many other big name fighters, boxing personalities, and people from the entertainment industry will be on hand for what has been labeled the Academy Awards of the sport of boxing. For more information about the BWAA, go to BWAA.ORG.
