HBO Is Live From London For Froch-Kessler II May 25
HBO BOXING® JOURNEYS TO LONDON FOR THE COMPELLING SUPER MIDDLEWEIGHT TITLE SHOWDOWN
WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP BOXING®: CARL FROCH VS. MIKKEL KESSLER II, PRESENTED LIVE SATURDAY, MAY 25
HBO Sports lights up Memorial Day weekend with a thrilling showdown across the pond when WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP BOXING: CARL FROCH VS. MIKKEL KESSLER II is presented live from the O2 Arena in London, SATURDAY, MAY 25 (6:00 p.m. ET/3:00 p.m. PT), exclusively on HBO. The HBO Sports team will call all the action, presented in HDTV and in Spanish on HBO Latino. The fight also has a prime-time replay later the same day at 10:00 p.m. (ET/ PT).
Other HBO playdates: May 26 (9:30 a.m.) and 27 (11:00 p.m.)
HBO2 playdates: May 26 (5:30 p.m.) and 28 (11:00 p.m.)
Super middleweight titleholders Carl Froch (30-2, 22 KOs) of Nottingham, England and Mikkel Kessler (46-2, 35 KOs) of Copenhagen, Denmark renew their heated rivalry in a 12-round match on Froch’s home turf. Their first fight, in April 2010, was a slugfest that ended in a Kessler triumph.
All HBO boxing events are presented in HDTV. HBO viewers must have access to the HBO HDTV channel to watch HBO programming in high definition.
